Farina Mohamad Yahya

Farina has considerable experience in advising local and foreign clients on acquisition and disposal of residential, industrial and commercial properties. She advises clients on a broad range of banking and commercial documentation including conventional and islamic financing. She is experienced in conducting due diligence on real property and liaises with the relevant authorities with regard to proposed developments and assists our clients with applications for the necessary approvals required prior to development and sales.

Farina facilitated in advising local and foreign investors pertaining to the developments in the Iskandar Development Region. She is well versed in matters relating to strata development and in particular strata management and the efficient structuring of strata schemes. She advises on subdivision applications, formation of Joint Management Bodies and Management Corporations and assists developers with planning for the handover of the strata management to these entities.

Farina started her career first by joining the firm as a Trainee Associate, where upon completion of her pupillage, she was retained in the Commercial Business Unit in 2013 as an Associate. She was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2016. In January 2022, she was promoted to Partner in the firm.
