Stanley Lee Wai Jin

Stanley heads the Intellectual Property practice group at Zaid Ibrahim & Co.

He has more than a decade of experience dealing with various corporate and commercial legal matters including intellectual property, franchise registration, personal data protection, telecommunications, media and technology. He has advised clients from different industries, including consumer products, pharmaceutical, retail, luxury goods, food & beverage, automotive, hospitality, information technology and service providers that are based in multiple jurisdictions around the world. He has participated in anti-counterfeiting and enforcement programmes for various brand owners.

Stanley also has litigation experience and has represented clients in a number of cases in the High Court and appellate courts in Malaysia.

Career

Stanley was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2014 and joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. as an Associate in the Intellectual Property practice group in the same year. He was subsequently promoted to Senior Associate.

Stanley later joined the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice group at Zaid Ibrahim & Co as a Senior Associate between 2023 to 2024.

He was promoted to Partner in January 2025.
